Californian Quail at Vista del Sol

A guest looked out the Window and saw the first California Quail we have seen in 5 years, it would have come from the rougher sand country towards the beach, and was running across the back yard.  We have occasionally seen Ring Necked Pheasants, also would have travelled in form the sand country and rougher ground toward the beach.
