Rangatira Golf Club is a unique 18 hole Country course situated in the heart of the Rangitikei River Valley on St Highway One, 12km North of Hunterville.
The course is built on three levels with stunning views of the Rangitikei River valley.
A highlight is the electrically powered cable car which takes you from the 18th green on the lowest level back up to the club house, the only one of its kind in New Zealand.
The well groomed fairways and watered greens are surrounded by native birds and bush. There are no bunkers.
Rangatira was designed by Doug Leng-Ward and was opened in 1964.
The club house is open daily with catering and bar services on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and weekends, or by prior arrangement. There are full changing and shower facilities available.
